With much Sadness, I received a phone call from a friend earlier this afternoon who said that George Michael died. He was a big influence upon me, a simple girly girl, who knew not a thing about sports. Through the years of me chasing boy's by learning sports stats, Michael's had been a girls best friend. I enjoyed his redskins interviews with the top brass, as well as the player's and the fans.
His presence in Washington will be missed.
